Program was organized and Sponsored by the Michigan Technological University Chapter of Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers The Gala Latina, just one of several events sponsored by NOSOTROS. This organization has students from all over the world including: Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico, Spain and more. Nosotros sponsors the Hispanic activities that have been going on in Michigan's Upper Peninsula since 1999, most recently the Gala Latina, featuring La Inspiracion Orquesta of Detroit, will be held Saturday, Oct. 21, from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. in the Memorial Union Ballroom. |
