Michigan Tech Engineers Have Talent:

NSBE Presented "Open Mic" Poetry Slam on April 8, 2005 in the MUB Commons featuring live performances from the Hiphop Crew of MTU, African Dance Team, Mr. Tony Lowe, Indian Students Dance Team and many other acts.

The National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) is one of the largest student managed organizations in the country. NSBE's goal is to increase the number of culturally responsible Black engineers to achieve academically, succeed professionally, and to impact the community positively. The MTU chapter is one of 248 NSBE chapters nationally on college and university campuses. Membership is open to all.
