Program was organized and Sponsored by the Michigan Technological University Chapter of Society of Hispanic Professional EngineersThe Gala Latina, just one of several events sponsored by the Michigan Tech Chapter of Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers. Website of the national Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers This organization has students from all over the world including: Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico, Spain and more. Michigan Tech University Chapter of Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers sponsorsmany activities that have been going on in Michigan's Upper Peninsula since 1999, most recently the Gala Latina, featuring Sergio Poventud y su Orquesta Veneno orquestaveneno.com, was held Saturday, Oct. 2, from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. in the Memorial Union Ballroom. |
