Annual Parade of
Nations
and International Ethnic Food Festival 2006
About
the Multicultural Festival
Students
from more than 90 different countries participate in the Parade
of Nations and International Ethnic Food Festival every year
in the Autumn. This years event was held on Saturday, Sept.
16, 2006.
The annual
parade featured contingents of international students and community
members traveling from Hancock Middle School and across the
Portage Lake Lift Bridge to Dee Stadium in Houghton. The Cass
Tech Marching Band was among the entries in Saturday's Parade
of Nations. Earlier, the band members were guests of the College
of Engineering for lunch at the Rozsa Center Atrium.
